Lauren Fleshman back on track: ‘I’m allowing myself to start to hope and dream again’

For Lauren Fleshman, Friday night’s 5,000 meters at the Oregon Relays marked a new starting point.

Almost two years since she last raced a 5,000 on the track, Fleshman made an encouraging return, winning in 15:42 and earning the qualifying standard for the U.S. Track and Field Championships.
